The first European country you set foot in, is responsible for conducting your asylum procedure and you need to stay in that country to await the decision. If your application has been denied, you have to go home and are not allowed to move to another European country – if you try to do so, you will unlikely succeed. Other European countries will not consider your application for a second time and send you back to the responsible country.
